I was fortunate to work on the online profile imagery for Halo Infinite. These illustrations were created during the ideation phase, where I had room to explore and push ideas creatively without the usual constraints.
The goal was to use a minimal four-colour palette and a dark background to create bold, iconic Halo imagery. Each emblem was built from layered vector elements, allowing users to customise colours and combinations. In the end, the final imagery was simplified for performance reasons, but it still captured the strong graphic impact we set out to achieve.
I’ve been collecting Halo art books since my time at Rare during the Halo 3 era, which gave me plenty of visual reference and inspiration to draw from throughout the process.
