I worked with 343 Industries on Halo 5: Guardians, contributing to the visual world-building of the fifth chapter in the legendary franchise. My work covered branding, iconography, screen UI, decals, animated renders, alien terminal interfaces, cinematic sequences, and online emblems, adding detail and authenticity to every corner of the Halo universe.
Ref. above: this was early FUI ideation, exploring potential alien computer interfaces. I enjoyed experimenting with unconventional shapes and layouts, deliberately avoiding anything recognisably human. While the final in-game versions were more refined, they remained close in spirit to these early explorations.
I also created environmental assets ranging from shopping mall and café signage to water pumping stations and starship sections. Striking the balance between the familiar and the otherworldly while staying true to Halo’s established design language was a rewarding challenge.
