I was briefed to design a new and innovative chat app for PlayJam. The team was exploring the idea of an integrated chat API that could be built into their own games and wider gaming platform, which was an interesting direction. The target audience was a young, socially active demographic familiar with popular messaging apps.
The brand direction was fresh, bright and modern, designed to feel approachable and energetic. The UI and UX were intuitive, building on familiar interaction patterns while taking inspiration from the leading chat platforms of the time.
