While at Territory Studio, I contributed to Atlas, creating FUI layouts for a mech cockpit interface. The art direction was already in place when I joined, a refined mix of curved forms, fine line work and dense micro detailing. My role was to design functional, believable screen layouts that matched this visual language and supported the storytelling on screen. The use of warm tones and light FUI elements gave the visuals a distinct look that stood apart from more traditional sci-fi interfaces.
Working alongside people at the top of their game pushes you to raise yours quickly. You sit down, look at the screen and think, this needs to be good.
I also designed a futuristic coffee machine interface for an interstellar starship, not your average brief but definitely one of the more enjoyable ones. And as always, it’s a nice feeling seeing your name in the end credits.
