Shortly after returning from travelling in 2006, Midlands-based agency RBH brought me in to work on a series of Jaguar showroom DVDs. These featured high-end vehicle and brand films designed to promote the range and drive sales.
I collated several of the films and built rich interactive DVD menus with seamless playback options. Having access to the original uncompressed footage meant I could create transitions that felt natural between the menus and the films, giving the whole experience a polished, cinematic feel. It was an early project that helped develop my editing and After Effects skills, and a good example of learning through doing and experimenting.
The finished discs were packaged in stylish clear cases and supported by printed marketing materials.
