My first automotive project with Territory Studio and the start of a longer collaboration with the team.
Territory Studio’s UI design is featured in the all-new Cadillac LYRIQ EV, the first fully electric vehicle from GM’s luxury brand. Working alongside Cadillac’s internal UI team in Detroit, we helped integrate new interface concepts into the LYRIQ’s architecture, combining cutting-edge design with the brand’s long heritage.
Building on my earlier work for Land Rover and CloudMade, this project explored a more expressive and less conventional approach to in-car UI. We focused on how refined 3D design and motion could connect function with emotion, enhancing the driving experience without overwhelming it. The work was primarily conceptual, helping to define a more elevated and future-facing interface language through a wraparound display, personalised UI moments, and carefully choreographed transitions.
A rewarding project to be part of, and one that helped set a new tone for digital design in the automotive space.
