Robot, Cat, or Both? – A Pixel Art Experiment
Like many budding artists of my generation, I became obsessed with drawing on the computer. For me, it started with the Sinclair Spectrum, then later the Atari ST and Amiga. That eventually led to a career in art direction, graphic design, UI, and game design. I still dabble when I have some downtime, obviously influenced by Sonic and other ’90s mascots. Pixel animation is probably the most challenging and rewarding part for me. With this character, I couldn’t decide whether it should be a robot, a cat, or a robot cat!
