Cheap tat. Let’s be honest, you’re most likely to toss it away. So, when I was approached by Microsoft to help promote career opportunities at UK game studios using the distribution of flyers at student recruitment exhibitions – well, cheap tat was the last thing on my mind. My first port of call was, of course, to get in the mindset of a typical creative student. Which for me, a creative student in a past life, wasn’t that difficult. I was soon watching daytime television and enjoying a nocturnal existence once more. But I was also able to produce something that would stand out amongst the dreaded ‘tat’.
