These are some preliminary drawings for a beach buggy concept I've been working on.
It’s still early days yet, but the project is coming on nicely. And with any luck, and a bit more time, I hope that someday it’s a concept that can grow into something bigger, and more tangible.

Here’s some recent branding work I produced for a friend’s digital creative agency. Due to the nature of the business and with it being a start-up, they were looking for a distinctive identity that could grow and develop with the business.

The logo was created from simple geometric shapes that I then abstracted. I don’t really want to go deep and say that the idents depict a creative digital explosion/the digital big bang. But it seems I just have.

  LONDON MIDLAND. DIGITAL 6 SHEET.

Trains aren’t the most exciting of subjects. Unless of course, you enjoy wearing woolly hats, anoraks, and special glasses. But this London Midland campaign devised by Richard Newell and Paul Ray in ’09 caught my eye. And I was asked to create a 5 second animation…in 60 minutes. Fairly straight forward you’d think, but it’s amazing how tricky creating impact without distracting too much from the key message can be.

It's a good day at in the office when you get paid to draw potion bottles. And that’s exactly what I found myself doing with these icons I created for Fable 2’s user interface. They were painted digitally in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet - with a bunch of us working across several studios on the UI.
